OFW recalls Libya ordeal

MANILA, Philippines — It was a harrowing ordeal that lasted about 24 hours from Nalut to Tripoli, Libya, on February 23 to 24, and Rosario Asto, a civil engineer working in a Swedish construction project in Ghadhames, will never forget it, including the cold muzzle of an AK-47 pointed by mean armed men at his stomach three times. Asto arrived from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Sunday, thankful to the government that he was able to come home in one piece.
