by Reviewer22 Day 3 started and the castaways did their morning chores. Most of them were collecting seashells, oyster, and crabs. They then placed the seafood inside the bamboo through a slot they made and cooked it on the camp fire. This was a cooking technique that Marlon Carmen from Season 1 would do to cook rice for the tribe. Everyone enjoyed the food and it looked like it was the best time they had for the past three days. The Great Chicken Hunt Karen got the tree mail that said: “Sa kabila ng isla may regalo para sa inyo. Dalhin ang buong tribo at pagsaluhan ang mga ito." Everyone was guessing what gift they were getting but most said they would be satisfied if it was food. True enough, five live chickens were scattered in the area. The CAs eagerly went for the chickens who were giving them a run for their money. But one chicken couldn’t out run the former Asian sprinter thus Elma Muros excitedly caught the first chicken. Doc Ferdz got the second. The third chicken was also caught. One chicken was sitting on a branch high above a tree. While the other CAs were trying to find a way to get it, John Hall just took one big leap and grabbed the chicken to the delight of the CAs. There was one more chicken left but it seemed to be elusive. Myka got mad at Trizsa because of two things. First, Trizsa didn’t know how to catch a chicken and was just getting in the way. Second, Trizsa just decided to sitdown and “guard” the 4 chickens when they were already tied up. The First Tribal Council It was a baptism of fire for the CAs and for RG as well since this was the first time we get to see him host a TC. Richard sports his new crew cut hair. There were improvements since he just had to sit instead of pacing around when he addresses the CAs. Like in past seasons, the CAs light up their torches since fire symbolizes life in the island and once the fire is snuffed, yada, yada, yada. Good bye 3 million pesos. RG informs the group that Princess Snail, I mean Snell has quit. She couldn’t handle the difficult conditions and thus chose to leave the game. Richard asked the CAs about the hardships of camp life. Some CAs said that they couldn’t sleep. That there were too many insect bites. Doc Ferdz ,who RG acknowledged having a lot of experience because of his Born to be Wild show, said it was the most difficult three days of his life. Elma noted that the boys were big and there were some boys who were small. Buhawi, the first of two winners of the first challenge, felt he couldn’t carry out the role as tribal leader. Asked about merging alliances, Mico said that there were no alliances yet Michelle said that she has no alliances yet although she could easily to talk with one person in the tribe. She also said that she is aware of possible enemies in the tribe. Akihiro said he is just enjoying and has no definite strategy yet. Such showbiz answers. Oops. Forgot that they are celebrities so they should be allowed to be showbiz in answering questions. RG rewards Buhawi with a green buff as a symbol of being the first winner of the challenge and as a tribe leader. RG asks Aira to read the scroll she won during the challenge. It turns out, no one will be voted off this TC and there will be three tribe leaders. Aira is then given a green a yellow buff and is now also a tribe leader. The last tribe leader will be voted by the CAs. Aira cast her vote to Elma. Mykah who may have thought they were still voting out someone, wrote down Triza’s name. Mico revealed John as his vote. Aubrey chose Elma as well. After all the votes were caste, RG reads the 1st of only two votes caste to Elma. Doc and Jon were neck to neck in the voting when suddenly Trizsa only vote was read. This elicited laughter in the CAs as Trizsa remarked, “I’m sure yun ang binoto mo” facing Mykah. Realizing her mistake, Mykah covered her face out of embarrassment. In the end, Jon edges out Doc and was given the red buff completing the three tribal leaders. RG announced to the group that the tribal leaders will have an impact in the coming days. But TC is not over and ends the epi with a request by saying, “May hamon ako sa inyo”.
